Adult Confirmation: A 12 week class for people interested in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.

"Catholics Alive" Mini Retreat: Four mini retreats to aid parishioners in the spiritual and personal growth as a member of our Catholic community and the community in which we live. Mini Retreats consist of: 101-"Catholics Alive!", 301-"Alive and Gifted!" and 401-"Alive in the World!"

Faith Formation Council: Act in an advisory capacity to the Director of Religious education to establish the role of Faith Formation in the parish and to engage and support all member of our faith community in the pursuit of life-long faith.

Infant Baptism Team: Provide baptism Instruction for parents and godparents seeking the sacrament of Baptism for their child(ren).

R.C.I.A. Team (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults): Instruct adults who are interested in the Roman Catholic faith who have never been baptized or baptized in other faiths or Catholic adults who have not been fully initiated.

Religious Education: Provide on-going Faith Formation for children and youth from 3 years old through Grade 8, and Family Sacramental Preparation for all students eligible to receive first Reconciliation and First Eucharist.

Vacation Bible School: Held during the summer, adults and young people who help children ages 4-10 to learn about their faith through crafts, music, games and prayers and Bible Study.

Pastoral Leadership
Pastoral Council: Provide information to the pastor to help set goals and develop programs which respond effectively to the needs and hopes of the parish community.

Office Help
Building Maintenance: Help with light maintenance around the parish, i.e., painting, carpentry and yard maintenance.

Columbarium Committee: Provide information regarding niches in the St. Francis Garden at the Holy Cross Parish Columbarium.

Decor and Environment: Help create and saw banners, water plants, and arrange artistic decorations in the church and altar area.

Holy Scrubbers: A group of people who meet on Wednesday mornings to do various tasks which includes but not limited to light cleansing and clerical at the church and parish offices.

Fellowship/Hospitality
Coffee and Donuts: Accept donations for coffee and donuts in the Gathering Splace after Mass on Sunday.

Martha Ministry: Provide hospitality at the church for family and guests at funerals, when requested by the family.

Social/Special Events: Help with cooking, baking, setup, and clean up at events held throughout the year, i.e., Cinco de Mayo Celebration, July 4th Celebration, and Mass in the Park.

Welcoming Committee: Make phone calls to new parishioners welcoming them to the parish and invites them to meet with you before or after Mass to be introduced to the parish.

Growing Stewards: Stewardship is a way of life, an attitude of the mind and heart that is expressed in action. Christian Stewards are women and men who acknowledge God as the owner and giver of all things.

The Pope John Paul II Campaign Fundraiser: Funds are for a new building to be dedicated to Pope John Paul II. Prayers will be offered daily for his canonization. Your pledge, time, talent and treasure is very important to make all this possible.

Altar Servers: Youth who have received the sacrament of Holy Communion and are prepared to assist the priest at mass and other liturgies.

Angel Voices Youth Choir: A choir consisting of boys and grils from third grade to high school. The choir sings once a month at the 5:30 pm Mass.

Children's Liturgy of the Word/Storyteller: Adults who share the Gospel with 4 to 7 year old children during Mass.

Liturgy Committee: Plan the parish liturgy for special Masses, feast days and liturgical seasons. Includes all aspects of the liturgy, i.e., music, environment, readings and petitions.

Music Ministry: Share the gift of music at Mass by leading the congregation in prayer by music and song. Song leaders, cantors, choir members and musicians are welcome.

Wedding Coordinators: Meet with couples planning marriage at the church to assist them in preparing the Mass/ceremony and conduct the rehearsal. On the wedding day serve as Sacristan and assist the bride and wedding party.

BeFrienders: A lay pastoral care program of specially trained parishioners who respond to the need of others by visiting with them, listening with care and providing emotional and spiritual friendship.

American Heritage Girls: A Christ-centered scouting program for 5-18 year old girls. The mission is to build women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country.
